Emotional Freedom Technique (EFT)

Based on the ancient principles of acupuncture, EFT is a simple tapping procedure that gently realigns the body’s energy system, without the discomfort of needles. Unlike other energy healing methods, EFT incorporates an emotional element to the healing process, addressing unresolved emotional issues as a likely cause of physical disease, psychological dysfunction, and personal performance limits.

Negative emotional experiences disrupt the energy meridians that run through our body. The physical changes we feel from those disruptions, like nausea or anxiety, become attached to the memory of that experience and affect the way we see the world…until we heal that disruption. Properly applied, EFT quickly realigns the energy meridians with respect to negative memories, disconnects the physical discomfort that we attached to it, and quite often removes the resulting symptoms.

EFT continues to provide encouraging results, even with newcomers applying EFT to themselves. Some cases are more complex, however, and may require more detailed attention from an experienced EFT Practitioner.

Here, the Founder, Gary Craig, explains the process.

Breathwork

You will have the opportunity to experience 'Breathwork', a centuries old method of releasing stress, tension and emotional build-up.

What does it do?
Breathwork helps get in touch with and heal suffering caused by conditioning, unresolved trauma and old emotional wounds. Guided Breathwork helps the body to release these emotions which get stored in the body. These can be from many years ago.

It's like allowing the body to say "That was me then, what I believed and what I felt. I no longer have any need for these feelings, they are a hindrance and I am ready to release them." Which is important because the body is a complex and wonderful machine. Your body will release (with guidance) what it is ready to release.

It relaxes and reduces stress in the body - you are encouraged to concentrate only on this rhythmical breathing. The connected breathing rejuvenates the cells of your body and brings to your awareness unconscious thought, beliefs and feelings.

How will I feel afterwards?
People say that they feel very peaceful and far more positive about who they are; they have more focus and clarity about many areas of their life. "Like a huge weight has been removed."

Is it safe?
It is totally natural. We cannot live without breathing and studies into controlled breathing show that it reduces stress, improves heart function and general well-being.
